As an outside consultant, Simmons worked with one of the highest performing casinos in the industry, Horseshoe, for 5 years, providing the full range of marketing, advertising and public relations services, plus dozens of highly successful slot promotions and table games promotions. He became involved in Gaming when it was first introduced into Mississippi in 1994, working with President Casino in Biloxi. He parlayed that into development, marketing, advertising and public relations work for a variety of clients as gaming expanded across America.
